Today, after breakfast, you will drive towards the enchanting Ziro Valley. The drive through the forests and the mountains is an experience in itself, something that you get to live almost as soon as you leave Itanagar for Ziro Valley. You will reach Ziro Valley post noon or so. Check in to your stay and head out to soak in the calmness and the beauty of the surroundings. Picturesque paddy fields, with small granaries dotting them, smiling men, walking around with beautifully crafted daos, smiling aged ladies with their big and unique nose pins, these are some of the first things that are sure to wow you as you try to settledown in the Ziro Valley for the next couple of days.
Today is going to be one of the most exciting days of your Ziro Valley tour. We will be exploring some of the best things to do in Ziro Valley. We will begin with a guided tour of the Ziro Valley, with a local guide taking you around to explore some of the villages of Ziro Valley. You will get a first-hand experience of the Apatani tribal lifestyle and will see and meet them, at their homes. Apart from taking a walking tour of the villages, we might also get a chance to see an Apatani tribal dance performance. Depending upon the season, you can also go for a walk along the beautiful paddy fields of Ziro valley and learn about the unique fish-farming technique of the valley. The evening will be free for you to wander around the villages of Ziro or, just sit around and relax From here, we will head to the Ziro valley arts and crafts center. also known as the handloom emporium. It houses exquisite handwoven textiles, and traditional garments along with many other hand-crafted things, some of which, are great options if you wish to buy some souvenirs. Be back at your stay after spending as much time as you wish to spend, exploring the above.
After breakfast, we start our onward journey to Aalo. After reaching Pasighat and lunch we visit the Ranaghat and Siang River Bank at Pasighat. Then we proceed to Aalo and check-in at the hotel. Local market visit The rest of the day is at leisure or you can opt to visit the local markets famous for shawls, chadors, carpets, handmade bags and other handicraft items can be done and after dinner retire for the night.
After breakfast, we will move to Mechuka the Shangri- La of Arunachal Pradesh. On the way a brief stopover to enjoy the beauty and grandeur of Siko- Dido waterfalls and after lunch there we again continue our journey to Mechuka. After reaching Mechuka we check-in at HomeStay. We can have an evening stroll at the town to enjoy the spectacular beauty. At dinner, we enjoy local cuisine at our Homestay before retiring for the night
After a good nightโs sleep and breakfast by the kitchen fire of your homestay, it is finally now time to explore Mechuka. Things to see in Mechuka, as they say. We begin our day by visiting the New Gompa. Spend some time walking around and appreciating the simplicity of the surroundings. From there, we will move to one of the best things to do in Mechuka. A hike to the Mechuka-la! Itโs a relaxed hike with beautiful views on every side. The scenery keeps getting better as you go higher up. Once at the top, the view of Mechuka town is simply beyond words. Sit there and just enjoy the moment. Being in this remote place, far away from almost everyone you know, and yet feeling very much at peace, the time spent here, doing nothing but being yourself, will stay with you for a long time. From here, we will then visit the small but beautiful Darjelling village and meet some of the locals to get to know about their life here. From Darjelling, we then go for a quick visit to the Tsokorphu village. After which, we head back to your homestay for some rest.As a last thing and one of the best things to do when in Mechuka, we will head to the Yargapchu River to spend some time in these beautiful surroundings.
After spending the last day exploring things to see in Mechuka, we will focus on the best places to visit around Mechuka. After breakfast at our homestay, we start our day by first driving up to the Old Gompa in Mechuka. We spend time at this 400-year-old monastery, talking to the caretaker of the Gompa and appreciating the history that the place has been a guardian to. Not to mention, the trail leading up to this historic place is sure to mesmerize you every second of the time you are there. From there, we will then drive to the Lhalung village to see the Old Tibet road. This road has a lot of history attached to it. From there, we head to the Mechuka gurudwara, which is one of the most revered places in Mechuka. It is said that Sikh guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji, on his way back from Tibet, had spent some time here in Mechuka and had meditated at this very place. The Gurunanak Tapasthan in Mechuka is maintained by the Indian army. Once back in town, we will head to the market for some local lunch and then explore it. The evening is mostly free to roam around.
After Breakfast, we proceed for Dibrugarh. On the way a brief stopover to enjoy the beauty and the grandeur of Siko-Dido waterfalls and after lunch on the way reach Aalo and check-in at HomeStay. Overnight stay in Aalo
After breakfast, we proceed for our return journey to Dibrugarh. Stopover at Pasighat for lunch and local market visit. Visit the rapids of Siang river is on the cards. After reaching Dibrugarh we would put you up at fabulous Homestay adjacent to the Tea garden in the most pristine surroundings. Next-Day dropping at Airport. End of Tour.
